This little school still stands, is still in use and looks much the same today, although additional buildings have been added over the century or so, since this photo was taken. For those not familiar with this area, it is on the Preston Old Rd end of Livesey Branch Rd, almost opposite the Feilden's Arms.

As you say, much the same as it was in the 40's and 50's when my Mother was at school there.
