Cherry Tree Station - 1950's

Cherry Tree Station, probably in the 1950's, looking towards Mill Hill.
That's the bridge that takes you up Green Lane. Nice little stationmaster's house or whatever it was.
If you stare right down the line for long enough, eventually you can see an old steam train, slowly chugging its way towards you. It works best when you've had a few drinks.

  1. This station was located more or less directly across the road where I grew up.I used to travel every day from this station to Pleasington to attend school there.I remember the pea soup fog winter mornings and standing by the fire in here with the guards as I waited for my train to arrive
