The Mission Hall - Feniscowles
This is the Mission Hall at Feniscowles apparently. I'm not sure where it is exactly, but I think it had (or has) some connection with Immanuel Church, so possibly nearby.
Isn't this the original building, now known as the Methodist Church on Preston New Road in Feniscowles? Now mostly unrecognisable with the add-ons over the years.
The picture shows Feniscowles Methodist Church. The foundation stone was laid on August 30th 1902, and it was opened in March 1903. It was enlarged in about 1965 and again in 1985. It is now nothing like the photo above, with all the garden having disappeared.

ReplyDeleteYou could be right, I honestly don't know. I walked past there yesterday too. I'll have a look next time I'm up that way.
