Yet another shot of the lower part of Eanam. This is the section / stretch between The Veteran pub (which is out of the photo to the left) and The Bowling Green, the gable of which can be seen towering above the other properties, towards the top right corner of the picture.
If today, you stood where the photographer was, you would just see the side of Thwaites Brewery and the roundabout at the end of Barbara castle Way.
